Wellesse Supplements Giveaway

I am so excited to share a really fun giveaway with you all today.  About a month ago, I was offered some samples from Wellesse, a liquid supplement company located in Ferndale, Washington.  Wellesse offers a premium line of liquid vitamins and supplements that are not only fast-absorbing, but are certified gluten-free. For anyone with Celiac disease (or who is gluten-intolerant), this is wonderful news!

I am a big believer in getting your nutrition through your food as much as possible and I try not to take extra supplements unless absolutely necessary.  A few years ago I worked with a nutritionist who discovered I was deficient in Vitamin D and iron, even though I eat lots of iron-rich foods.  My nutritionist recommended liquid supplements because the body absorbs them better than pills.  I have a couple of brands that I have used over the last couple of years, but I was very excited to try Wellesse’s supplements.

Overall, I was really impressed with the taste of their supplements.  Each bottle comes with a small measuring cup that makes it easy to measure out the correct dose.  Their products are very affordable and are available at many drugstores and online.  Wellesse does not test any of their products on animals, but a few of their supplements are not vegan so please see my notes below* if you are concerned about this.

I know that many of my readers here are interested in better supplements and gluten-free products so I wanted to offer this great giveaway to you.  (Please know that all opinions here are my own and I was not asked to endorse this product or required to offer a giveaway.)

I know! So sorry to exclude non-US folks! Amazon does carry their iron supplement and I think it is only $9, which seems pretty affordable for a month’s supply. I’m halfway through my bottle now, but I plan to reorder when I run out.

Interesting! I’ve never seen a liquid supplement before. I’ve tried to take supplements before, but always hated the larger pills and awful taste. And Iron pills have always made me nauseous, I wonder how a liquid would change that?

This summer, I am looking forward to a break from night classes and fun in the sun: backpacking in the Enchantments, camping in Eastern Washington, and Hawaii! Woohoo!

That’s right – I remember you telling me that. You should definitely try a liquid supplement. I was taking iron pills and I didn’t usually have issues if I had them with food, but if I didn’t have a full stomach I felt nauseous. I haven’t had any problems with the liquid though!

This summer I am so excited because I will be running Ragnar Northwest Passage in July (a 12 person relay race where we run 200 miles in about 28-34 hours) with some of my closest friends. And it’s been on my bucket list to travel to Seattle and Vancouver forever!

I recently started a new business and I am excited about the opportunity that it is giving my family. My husband works so hard to take care of us, I look forward to being able to provide extra money so he won’t have to work so hard.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway! I love reading your blog, your posts are always entertaining. Liquid supplements seems like a great way to get your vitamins, as I have been looking for something that absorbs more easily, especially for iron and B vitamins.

This summer I am looking forward to a two week trip to the Grand Canyon and other surrounding landmarks with my family! My aunt is coming from Hungary to join us (she does not speak any English) so it should be quite an adventure. :)
