There are a few things you need to know about writing a cookbook:
1. Writing a cookbook is not as glamorous as it sounds. Truth be told it often involves spilling things, a lot of dirty dishes, and continually re-working a recipe until you’re just about to lose your mind. Because of this…
2. Writing a cookbook takes over your life. It involves many days spent in the kitchen, many days at the computer doing book design and editing, and many days spent at the market getting inspired to create new recipes. But, it all pays off in the end because…
3. Writing a cookbook is whole lot of fun. Even though it’s a lot of work, I loved every minute of writing my first cookbook and I’ve loved every minute of writing my second cookbook.
So here’s the moment where I get to tell you that, yes, I am indeed writing a second cookbook! Many of you know that last fall I released my first cookbook, The Seasonal Comfort Food Cookbook, featuring over 55 gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free recipes for fall and winter. It’s basically a bunch of delicious comfort food recipes that taste amazing AND are good for your body. Imagine that!
My second cookbook focuses on healthy and delicious comfort food recipes for the warmer months using everyone’s favorite vegetable… zucchini! Just like the first book, this one will be an eCookbook, meaning that it will be available in PDF format so you can access it on any iPad, iPhone, Kindle or Android device – anywhere in the world! (My apologies to those who love print books – I love printed cookbooks too, but at this point it will only be available electronically.)
I can’t wait to tell you more details soon, but for now just know that it’s coming your way this summer and I can’t wait to share it with you.
And if you want to be one of the first to know new details about the book (as well as get a special discount) be sure to sign up for my free newsletter!
Until then, I thought you’d like to see some behind the scenes photos…
